Agra Fort is UNESCO World Heritage Site in city of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was the principle home of the heads of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, when the capital was moved from Agra to Delhi. Prior to catch by the British, the last Indian rulers to have involved it were the Marathas. Agra Fort is famous for its brilliant engineering, fusing Akbar's mark Islamic and Hindu styles. Agra Fort sits about 2.5 km west of the Taj Mahal, alongside the Yamuna River.
